[Mesh] Mesh networks for remote islands?

Yeah, looks like some of the gaps are too big to bridge, and these are
mostly low lying coral atolls so there aren't mountains to put antennas on.
Tall towers which are probably too expensive.

But some areas look like they are close enough and their could be repeaters
with less than 10 miles spacing. Maybe some sort of hybrid system with a
mix of 802.11 and some HF links that can go beyond the horizon.

Will need to look more closely.
