ESPmesh: https://github.com/sudomesh/disaster-ping-pong is an attempt at
getting ESP8266s perform psuedo-ad-hoc meshing. This (or disaster radio, or
garden mesh) could potentially form separate meshes that interface with the
'real' mesh, but they would never be part of the real mesh because they are
not capable of running the babel routing protocol,
