[sudo-discuss] lighting options

Hi,

I'm not really in this discussion but I thought I should chime in. There
was some discussion on lighting earlier and creating an atmosphere.

The other day I brought to Sudo Room a fully functional "EZ up" that has no
fabric canopy. I thought if it was set up over the work tables that it
could be used as a structure for which to attach lights (temporarily) to
test out some ideas.

One person thought that it was an interesting idea - another person said it
would take up too much room. I responded by saying that it would only take
up 4 square inches since that is the foot print of each 1 in leg -
otherwise it is a square grid in the air.

Light can be clamped onto the grid or mounted by screws. If using the
frame is not desirable then the metal can be hacked, used for the robot or
scrapped. It could even be used at the maker faire.
