Yes, the keyboard is super-ultra-mega simple to remove.

And even that I like the idea of given them away, I am more inclined to
keep them for sudo/omni use instead; at least until we get something
better. So like Ryan said there is a need of equipment to run computer
literacy classes.

I just threw Ubuntu in because I didn't know what would be most appropriate
and I didn't want to investigate what would be best.  So, I take your word
about Lubuntu.
