Thanks for that link, Julio, and Hol for re-entering sudo's ethical core of
social justice!

If you're interested in supporting the current uptick in requests for
Omni's support in activist endeavors, we've formulated an informal
'organize' working group to field relevant space requests, requests for
collaboration and resources etc that had been meeting weekly on Wednesdays
at 6pm prior to the ghost ship tragedy and holidaze. To connect subscribe
to the list at omnicommons.org/lists/listinfo/organize

If people would like to make some arts or contribute funds, Dionne Smith is
an amazing woman fighting for police accountability and specifically
justice for her son, James Rivera, who was murdered by Stockton PD in 2010.
She is currently raising funds to bring her powerful voice to DC and
perhaps we could blast this out / contribute $$ / make something awesome to
send her off with: https://www.gofundme.com/6n-womens-march-on-washington

I'll be editing some footage I took of Dionne speaking at Gilda Baker's
press conference last October (Gilda's son, Diallo Neal, was murdered by
CHP in a hit & run in 2005 and she is only now finding the support she's
needed to speak out) when I get home in a few days... editing support would
be rad as I'm hella rusty.

Mad love,
