[sudo-discuss] Do we have any peltier generators floating around?

A peltier effect element should be usable as either a heat pump or a
generator depending on whether you apply a current or a temperature
differential.  The images in the linked document are of a similar device
I have seen used as a TEC and I understand the hot side of the usual
spec units can't be driven above 80C, quite possible it could go higher
in generator mode.

Also fun trivia - check the name on this original TEC patent filed back
1958 before semiconductors were really much of a thing, clearly a name
only a cool guy would have:
