Would anyone be interested in setting this up and running this next week?

Hi sudoers!

Thank you again for tonight and I just found all these emails. I was offline all day so just got it.

I will work on a google docs for general rules -ie if you go to the bathroom grab a buddy, clean up your work, no running in the common room etc and a schedule of activities and supplies needed, a wanted list -items we need that we can dumpster dive for and receive free, items we can fund raise for, working list of interested projects. How is the best way to share it to the group or should provide to individual emails?

Keep us informed about the George issue and insurance.
I do have one suggestion...try to start at 6pm. I think some families need to get their kids to bed at a reasonable hour because of school and such.
I love our beginning circle. It think it was great introduction to our group. I think once we get a regular group we can just skip the intros and go straight to what we are offering for the day. I really loved all the ideas the kids came up with. We really have an amazing group of kids.

Maybe a quick closing circle about what the kids liked doing at sudo room that day so we can get some immediate feedback about the activities done that day or even a show and tell of what they made etc. That would be really neat.

My daughters didn;t get to try Anthony's calligraphy. We will have to try that again when I don;t bring the Legos. I think it would be great to have a quick demo of available activities perhaps because my kids for some reason had no idea what calligraphy was. Although I swear I know we talked about it before.
I would love to do boardgames but the noise level is just too high for that. I would love to hear how the meeting about instrument making went. How did it go Johnathan? The girls all told me what they want to make however there was no further discussion how they were going to make these instruments and with what materials needed and when this was going to happen.

A few moms and I got together and we will go into the materials hallway and try to organize it. Please save boxes and such and place in that room and we will do our best to inventory and organize it. We will be there Tuesday.

Also we will sign one parent up to do dishes after our community meal. Thank you for all those who helped with that.

I noticed that it is really hard for Raymond to cook the meals and set up the activities and insure the activities are carried out all at the same time. So if we can help ease that load off of his shoulders I will do my best.

My issue is I feel obligated to give tours and explain Sudo Room to the people that I invited when I am not even a member of sudo room--not sure how to balance all that. Well if I am able to get them to come check it out then that is a first step!

Carolyn
