[Sudo-radio] SRIG meeting 3/19/2013

No worries, I was quite happy to do it. I'm just kinda anxious to
make tangible progress, and I realized there was a psychic block in
play with respect to the tangled-up-ness of the radio room.

Cabling and speakers would be much appreciated. We do have some
cables lying around, but since we're talking about "infrastructure"
here, what we put in place really ought to be higher-quality than just
your regular Radio Shack stuff.

I'm not certain of all of the parts needed because I didn't play
around as much as I wanted with the Behemoth Mixer, and I am not sure
of all of the typical Use Cases for the radio room. (e.g. how likely
is it that we have turntablist DJs? talk shows with more than 2-3
people? etc)

However, I know one huge Nice To Have would be a headphone splitter like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Pro-PHA40-4-Channel-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B003M8NVFS/nthmost-20

...because we can use it to split off the output from the mixer,
sending it to the monitor, the R Pi, and the radio transmitter.
(That's one potential configuration anyway.)

And if we had a second one, we could use it as a headphone splitter. :D

ps. My Mail.app just did some weird crap when I lobotomized it to keep
my Gmail stuff out of there. If anybody just got some fractionated
emails from me just now, that's why. I can see them in my "Sent Mail"
folder in Gmail but some of them are marked "Deleted". Huh??
Whatever.
