[sudo-sys] wifi AP not working

Above the telecloset there is a Cisco/Linksys E1000. It's been running
dd-wrt and serving the "sudoroom" SSID for the past 9 months or so.
Its LAN IP is 192.168.1.49. Since maybe yesterday it's been flakey -
either clients can't get a dhcp lease or if they do, they can't ping
anywhere. After multiple resets. I've spent too long poking through
the settings and not finding answers.

Did someone change something?
