Thanks for getting in touch. The address of Eric's workshop is 953 w.
macarthur in Oakland. We will be welding a soil grate, and some other
stuff, we will also be cutting things, grinding things, torching things,
and dropping them on the floor. We will also be drinking and barbecuing.
Feel free to bring beer or things to grill, although it's not required.
We need to also reverse-engineer some possibly buggy shop drawings from
Open Source Ecology.
We have 3 MIG welders, one of which I am sure we can use, and two that we
will need to buy wire and tips for. We have a bunch of gloves and face
shields, but feel free to bring your kit.

I am Alaric, and want to help you weld/build/make/fix stuff! I think your project sounds really neat and I would like to be able to become involved.
A few questions, I hear you're meeting on Saturday at noon, where exactly will that be? Will we need to bring equipment? If so, what do you need? What sort of things do you need done (welded, hit, looked at, fiddled with)?

We downloaded http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:CEBIVFab.pdf.
Unfortunately,
some of the measurements were wrong (the slats on the grate). We will be
able to fix the wrong cuts we made, but it would be nice if the most
current versions of the plans were made prominent on the site. Is there a
more current version we could download?
