I studied Applied Linguistics and some computational linguistics -- did a research assistantship in machine learning, etc. I currently build data pipelines for an AI startup. Happy to participate in some related discussions.

I dabbled in this a very long time ago -- 2 decades so it wasn't
called "AI" then :-)
