Thanks so much! I’m just now realizing that a lot of the administration action is happening at the Omni level, and I am not subscribed  to any of omni’s mailing lists, so I’m really only aware of it when someone posts it to a sudo mailing list.

I can’t believe I didn’t even know about the upcoming elections or who is in charge of these things. I’ll try and be more informed going forward.

I’ve noticed that no one has seconded my idea that we appoint a treasurer, so perhaps discussing these things directly with Imma is the best way to go forward. Do you have their email address? What’s the best way to get in touch with them?

Omni's treasurer is Imma Delacruz. We value financial transparency and
there are very few secrets here, other than the identities of specific
donors. I'm personally allergic to quickbooks, but I had been spending
most of this year trying to get regular reports on Omni's finances,
and our previous bookkeeper created these reports for the month of May
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hDLV5VddnHqRQ-dGejJTAGQLAGG6FOlW

She then quit in mid-June. Since then we have been trying to hire more
people to do bookkeeping and admin work so that there can be more
regular reports in the future. We are currently onboarding 3 new
independent contractors to help with this - Alaska Yamada, Chichi
Tettamanzi and Jacqi Galea.

If you have any specific questions about Omni finances or money or
anything else, we will do our very best to answer them! You are
welcome to join finance meetings if you like, or our email lists at
https://omnicommons.org/lists/listinfo/finance

Also, as a reminder, we have an officer election at next Thursday's
delegate meeting to replace our previous secretary, Sarah Lockhart.
Right now the only nominee is Jacqi Galea, and we welcome others.
