I just went to lake merritt after a class nearby. Man the lake stinks! No sight of dead fish anymore, but the smell of death everywhere really brings the reality home. I used to work in a cannery in Alaska. At one point multiple tonnes worth of crates of fish could not be processed fast enough and rotted. What can we hack to put into Merritt soon?
Is the expandable foam from the hardware stores waterproof? One could
“cast" a foam disc with the guts inside the foam. Solar panels embedded on
top, air pumps dangling below.
