Hey Seth,
That sounds pretty good!
That actually gives me an idea on how to bootstrap a content-rich radio
station for broadcast, since currently we're broadcasting bupkis.
We could all commit to generate X minutes of content of some kind -- not
just randomly generated music, but something that listeners would find
interesting -- and put it all into rotation or on a fixed schedule
(whatever we want).
Part of the goal could be helping introduce new people to Sudo Room itself
via the stream. That implies recordings such as statements/interviews from
members about what they're working on and why they like Sudo Room... little
"bumpers" and PSAs to sprinkle in about whatever... an audio reading of our
weekly schedule, and/or the current day's events.... whatever makes sense.
What do you guys think? Could you commit to generating, say, 1 hour's
worth of content of some kind? It could be split up into smaller chunks
but should be self-contained (have a start, middle, and end).

Hey
I'm still here. I'm taking a sailing class all next week so I won't be
around.
Afterwards, I''m gonna try to come to the space on Tues nights and wrangle
somebody into doing an interview. I envision doing a live 5-15 min
interview with somebody about a project they are working on or a class they
are organizing. I will record it in Audacity and put together a short intro
and outro with voiceovers, and ultimately make a self contained piece that
can be looped in the stream.
Also, maybe we could loop other techy podcasts( Make mag..etc) in the
stream when there is nobody DJing.
Ideally, I think it would be cool for folks to be able to tune in at home
and listen to an interview about a sudo room workshop that their unfamiliar
with and/or can't physicaly attend.
Looking forward to working with everybody.
