- Benny: AJ + Pam know someone who manages a bunch of tall buildings. Going to check and see if any of them are in locations that can see IA.

- lesley: is this CAL sail or marina proper?
- benny: I dunno
- null: next open house is june 16th, sunday, 1--4pm
- Paxio links
- Benny: need to bug them again. Added to action items.
- People's Park
- juul: you can go during the day and connect to peoplesopen.net and there's internet! so that's a success. however, the system I brought crapped out (ayden brought it back). I think the USB adaptor broke. I want to get the more expensive modem.
- benny: how is it currently working?
- juul: using calyx hotspot w/o solar power. im stil working with them to figure out a way to do solar well. it's tricky to find a good sustainable spot for it. there's one light pole on NE corner we could try to use if we figure out the berkeley bureaucracy, though it's far from where people hang out.
- Laptops
- robb: we got some more donations of macbooks. 4/5 seem to work. some diagnosis work to do, and a bunch of distro to do.
- Mobile Citizen

- Notes from this past Sunday's session:
Solarpunk hotspots proposal
I (juul) propose that we install some solar powered 4G LTE WiFi hotspots on poles close to homeless communities and other public areas used by the homeless (like People's Park).
If the delay for approval isn't long then let's start with one location and expand.
Let's figure out where we want to mount: This is important since we'll have to specify when we apply for the permit.
