Agenda item 1: Money & Structure
- Joe and Laurie participating as new members, have questions about process. Jek clarifies about empowering all members, how the space runs on do-ocracy, and how onboarding works
- Why struggling with shortfalls? ran out of savings, less members, no other grants.
Jek talks about how CALLI is the owner because Omni Commons failed to secure a long-term loan: We've had some grants in the past but now it's running low. Fortunately member donations are incresing due to existing members raising their contribution and new members joining.
- Joe proposes having more structures to get things done
- Michael suggests having a meta day, reflect on structure of org and what is the value and mission of SudoRoom
- How do we make a little more money every month?
- member dues - grants - other ways? Ivan proposes subgroup to explore fundraising opportunities? - Arik: we can send out emails to people whose cards have expired and
- Joe proposes offering 3D print services to increase revenue and attract new members
michael: it's a good the idea and I suggest the sudoroom room community to give necessary support and cooperation for this project.
Agenda item 2: Wiki
- Private data base for documentation
- The wiki is public, what should we use for internal document?
- Cryptpad: Ivan wonders if we can have shared folder rather than single documents.
- There are different tools that are being used sometimes google docs, sometimes proton somtimes cryptpad etc.
michael: We can give recommendation and provide tools, but ultimately it's the do-ers that decide what to use.
Agenda item 3: Members
- Review Kanban, welcome three new members
Agenda item 4: 3D Printing
- General support for supporting Sudo Room supporting any petition or letter blocking this proposed legislation.
