The Omni Commons building

Getting here

Street address: 549 48th Street, Oakland, CA 94609

Sudo Room is located in the Omni Commons building, at the corner of 48th and Shattuck, in North Oakland.

The nearest major intersection is 51st and Shattuck, right next to the highway 24 on/off-ramps.

We're 1/2 mile north of MacArthur BART station; which is approximately 10 minutes at average human walking speed.

Getting in

Our main entrance is not the one on Shattuck. Walk down 48th St. to the building's side door and follow the instructions posted there for accessing Sudo Room.

Getting out

We are programmed to receive

You can check out any time you like

But you can never leave

Getting started with baklava

Preheat oven to 175°C
Probably grease a pan
Make phyllo dough (you probably should have done this before turning on the oven)
