Today We Learned! Creating FUN Games with Open Source

Let's make Fun Games with open source software.
We are going to keep it simple and interesting by creating Visual Novels.
The focus is on creativity and play.
- Let's experiment and keep the hackerspace spirit and leave indiegogo and kickstarter project mentions to the end of the session.
OPEN SOURCE FOCUS We will be steering clear of expensive, commercial game making software, although there are a lot of great products out there. There are many wonderful open source game engines out there friendly even to beginners!
Adult focus This particular session will have an adult focus and possibly touch on adult content. Perhaps later if there is a baby sitter, there can be a children's workshop or a teen workshop with guardians.
