We are using our Type A Machine 3D printer to print a RepRap.
Steps To Do
Understand the many choices - different models, designs, iterations.
- Print plastic parts
- Download STLs or compile from SCAD?
- Figure out the right slic3r settings
- Is our Type A's bed flat enough for the larger pieces?
- Laser cut frame
- Noisebridge? AMT?
- Find cheap sources of:
- NEMA 17 Stepper motors (Adafruit)
- Extruder head / nozzles
- rods, belts, etc
We already have:
- Glass beds
