That members don't ever have to show up in person if they don't want voting rights. 
NONVIOLENT REWORDING OF: To empower members to deal with  problematic  non-members, non-members can be thrown out at any time by a  member if  that members feel they are  being a problem, _unless_ some  other member  present in the space is willing to vouch for the member as  a guest.  Non-members being asked to  leave must be told that they can  further  discuss the incident at a Wednesday meeting or on the mailing  list.

To empower members to deal with problematic non-members, non-members can be removed by a member who feels their behavior is problematic, *unless* another member present in the space is willing to vouch for the non-member as a guest. Non-members can use the space as much as they want when other members are present, but cannot access the space when no members are there and have to leave when the last member leaves.

  • Problems with people sleeping here and otherwise being problematic.
    • In a week we will have a 2/3rds vote to Ban Sarah and Ardeen from the space.
  • Some folks want to have a radical mycology microscopy event at sudo room in February
    • They will bring teachers, materials and tools (microscopes)
    • They will have a maximum of 15 people participating
    • They want to charge $35 per person and give 10% of that to sudo room
    • The money is going to bay area radical mycology collective, teachers, eventbrite, flyer artist and sudo
    • We need to decide if we allow for-pay events (where the teachers are paid)
      • juul likes the following principles:
     GAYABAGS: Give as you're able but always give something. 
     NOTAFLOF: No-one turned away for lack of funds.
     
     Goes against our common space rules: "must be free or donation-based"
   Request a new proposal more in line with our values
Cost seems rather prohibitive given values around educating and mobilizing the community
Request they make it a $35 suggested donation, with no need to give a percentage to sudo room
