Overview

The recommended slicing program for the Creality 3d printers. It is loaded on the PC next to the laser cutter.

Create a new project.
Select which printer to use (the ones we have should be configured already as presets)
Import your .stl files (File > Import)
Manipulate your objects so they fit on the bed and aren't overlapping or hanging off. Orca should yell at you if this is the case.
At the top, click Preview, it should start slicing (the process of splitting your model into layers to print)
You may need to enable supports for some objects if there are overhangs.
It should show you a preview, with a list at the right showing how long each type of print will take. Notably, if you're printing multiple objects at once and there is a high amount of 'travel time,' sometimes this can be reduced by moving pieces closer together.
Click export gcode and save it to the computer.
Transfer it to the micro sdcard (the reader is the blue cable+dongle taped to the top of the screen) and take it to your printer to print.
