  • How to automate much of our communications by offloading to the digital?
  • Encouraging others to take on leadership / facilitation
  • Giving space to those who seem out of place or don't normally speak up or have been quiet for much of the meeting
  • Talking sticks
  • Subtle pressures and power dynamics related to established social norms
  • Better onboarding process for new members could include creating more dedicated space for new members to introduce themselves at meetings, asking new members to teach a class
  • Taking stack / creating a queue
  • Separate stack-taker and facilitator role
  • How to keep someone from fillibustering - take one of several points made, repeat it and ask the group for feedback / responses
