the pair programming station is a computer on a desk with wheels, which has two monitors, two keyboards, and two mice, arranged symmetrically so that two people can use the same computer at the same time.

this is great for teaching computer skills back and forth between two people, even who have equal skill levels, since there's always something you can learn from someone else.

also, the arrangement allows for direct person-to-person communications with a direct view of the other person's face.
