We want to use our Type A Machine 3D printer to print a RepRap.

Steps To Do

Understand the many choices - different models, designs, iterations.

  1. Dream big! Find a very large frame and make a huge reprap like Noisebridge did recently. It doesn't have to be laser-cut or water-etched. It just needs some reasonably rigid 90 degree angles ...
  2. Print plastic parts
  3. Find cheap sources of:
    • NEMA 17 Stepper motors (Adafruit)
    • Extruder head / nozzles
    • rods, belts, etc

We already have:

  • Glass beds
