- longtime sysadmin, one-time phone phreak - ex-(photo)journalist - sailed 1/2way around the world, lived in Oceana a few times - played in a bunch of bands - digs frame semantics/linguistics, ethnographic sociology, phenomenology, art-historical criticism - quite concerned about information privacy & security activism - quite stoked on community mesh - Would like to help build a framework for making anonymizing/privacy-protecting technologies more accessible to the public, as well as developing moral-political conceptual frameworks that might be useful to convince the public at large of privacy and anonymity's importance - etc.
