[mesh-talk] [Mesh] Fwd: Sunday Node Mounting

Ok so I've got some updated info. We DO have access to the roof, but I
don't believe we've purchased the non-penetrating mount that is required of
us, so we'll likely do that next weekend instead of this. Also - I'm
probably not super prepared to hack on my house, unless someone is really
excited about that and wants to help spearhead.

So - I can promise to be at sudoroom walking people through hacking on the
firmware and assorted pieces if other people will be there. I do have an
outstanding promise to anyone who is interested and will commit to
participating on development that I will personally walk them through as
much of the existing network/codebase/topology/educational ideas as I'm
able to. If you tell me that you will help, I will literally spend hours
(or as much time as you can handle) teaching you everything I know. On a
less intense note, I can also just flash another router or two and set up a
mini mesh at the omni and walk you through that. I'd also like to get some
services running on a machine connected to the mesh, and the fake captive
portal (I think we're calling it the garden gnome?) + service browser are
pretty essential pieces, so I might work on those as well.

Benny, let me know if/when you'll be at the omni and I'll try to plan
accordingly.
