That first paragraph is hilarious! So Stephenson-esque hacker-apocalypto!
And otherwise it's a pretty decent piece of journalism - I like how he
brings in Bruce to provide context on the state of the digital divide in
Oakland, and doesn't make the mesh sound like a quick one-size-fits-all
solution to it.
Matt, did you also mention that Internet connectivity will also be donated
by those with existing ISP subscriptions, so it doesn't sound like we have
a single point of failure reliance on the IA's Richmond link?
