One of the ongoing, hard-work aspects of maintaining a true Commons IMO
is that I think it's important to presume good intentions on the part of
every newcomer to the space, even if they are wrong, misinformed, or prove
(as all such people always eventually will) to not have them.

We can save ourselves some of this quotidian labor by signage, though as
with Joel's signs we should aggregate as much info per sign as is legible
in about 15 seconds so we don't done day have too too many signs everywhere
(lest we give an impression of being in a space ruled by too
many imperatives and prohibitions..although we are presently pretty far
away from that end if the spectrum to be sure! :)
