Elliot, with all due respect, I feel strongly that you should step back
from the role of acting as "enforcer" for the building. I wish that there
was a better distinction between personal problems and community problems
that require community intervention, and I wish, Elliot, that you would
recognize that you have A LOT of personal problems with people everywhere
you go and that the role of the collective is not to make sure that
everyone wants to be your friend. I know that the purpose of this listserve
is not to publicly shame eachother but I am sick of this affecting every
project that you touch. Also I think using the language of "safety" in a
situation like this (that is uncomfortable but not unsafe) is super-
manipulative and will contribute towards people not taking serious words
seriously anymore and its a real problem. Please find a way to share space
and participate in community projects without appointing yourself as
enforcer or making yourself a spokesperson for  groups that routinely
disagree with you on your process and analysis. Please just be Elliot, and
please find a way to deal. I am sorry if this hurts you or embarasses you.
Know that I will have your back when it gets real. We can talk more in
person if you like.
