i totally hear you julian, it's a real challenge to make change or let go
of stuff, this is why the omni gets filled up with stuff and stays in the
condition it's in.
this is not to say that books aren't beautiful or charming, cuz they are,
it's just that the purpose of the front hall is changing. i would equate
this to having a library on the ground level of the ballroom.

the wall is getting cleared cuz we've discussed using the wall as a large
art/info wall where each collective has a display area that visually
communicates what their group is about to anyone who enters the omni.
