Damian is doing ok and is very determined to remain on the site at this
point even in the face of open hostility from certain members of the Marin
community. Following the arson attack, the City of San Rafael used a
bulldozer to scrape all evidence of the fire and Damian's remaining
possessions off the ground and into a dump truck. I brought Damian clothes
and a few supplies. Then another article came out in the MarinIJ - the
article has photos of Damian and he is wearing the shirt I gave him:

It is possible that the site clearing action was taken by the City of San
Rafael due to the upcoming Marin county fair where many people would be
walking by the encampment to attend the fair. We plan to install an
information booth at the site to exercise the right of peaceful assembly
and protest the open hostility towards people who are experiencing
homelessness in Marin County. Marin has the 7th highest per capita rate of
homelessness of any city or county in the USA.

The Marin county fair starts on July 3 and runs for a week. Here is the
