[sudo-discuss] Is upstairs "public" computer lab considered part of Sudo Room ?

Thank you Jenny. Your information helped clarify things for me.

I am definitely pro having a public computer terminal at Omni Commons
overall.

In couple of other similar volunteer run community spaces I have been
involved with, we had public computer terminals but would have continuous
challenges with folks taking over the terminals and the computers not being
very accessible by the wider community of participants & random visitors
for occasional usage.

It is not major issue at the OC but there was a East Bay Food Not Bombs
volunteer who may have been unhoused and needed to have access to email.
They waited couple hours until there was a spot at the computer terminal
available even though there are 4 computers I think (about 3 months ago.)
Small example but I wonder if that was issue pre-COVID and might be
post-COVID (?)

I'll double check with North Oakland Mutual Aid volunteer who said they had
uncomfortable interaction with Tom about intergalactic space families stuff
with traditional gender roles (sounded like some kind of right wing version
of Ursula le Guin ?!?)
