Screenshots from the section and outside views attached - definitely a bit clearer looking
at the whole model. What is the goal for production this weekend? One team could
'easily' finish welding the grate, and one team could work on something else
depending on how many people show up. I enjoyed the workarounds that people came up with
and implemented last week - I will try to make it this Saturday but may only have tonight,
so I will focus on getting views and dimensions based on immediate-future planned work.
Seems to me that parts for the mechanism should be laid out relatively soon since they
might take longer to troubleshoot with all the hydraulics. Concerning the hopper, what
are thoughts about cutting that sheet now with torch vs now with cutoff wheel vs waiting
to borrow a plasma cutter? One class of easy items to work on that don't require much
planning are repeating parts such as feet and collars. Attached also is a view of the
saddle weldment - could be a good starting item to practice cutting from the 10Ga sheet
and welding odd angles, and could be a good gauge of how many cutoff wheels it will take
to make all the planned cuts for the larger hopper elements. Just a few thoughts...what
to people think?
Cheers,
Hol
