There is a file server on space.local.
It is 650 GB on an external USB harddrive and completely read/writable to anyone in the space.
Currently the only mechanism for accessing the file server is SMB/CIFS (used by e.g. windows filesharing).
Just go to WORKGROUP\space\sudoroom public data
sftp access coming soon
