| January 3, 2014 - we are having a post [[Art_Murmur|Oakland Art Murmur]] art making evening.

| The idea is that instead of doing an art show, we will create a space for people to create art, hack on stuff, dance and perform for everyone live. It's like a Jazz musician jam.

| There are going to be art MC's such as James Lamaste and roller skaters like Elle Seven cheering people on, presenting videos, and playing music.

About
The Art Making Party is a monthly event at SudoRoom.
It occurs right as the First Friday Oakland Art Murmur ends. The theme switches out but the focus centers on the act of making art.
There are MCs, performers, and so on but the focus isn't on them. It is on the act of creation. The musicians act more as partners with the guests, enabling them to react and make art.
