How to join
1. Introduce yourself! Talk to any member or email members@sudoroom.org to get more info.
2. Show up to an event on the calendar. (Directions to the space.)
3. Fill out the Declaration of Intent form, which will be sent to everyone in the members mailing list for endorsements and blocks.
4. There is a 3 week pondering period for new application. You will be a member if the following conditions are met:
- You have received endorsements from 3 Sudoroom members
- No one raised opposition to your membership and blocks the application
- It has been more than 3 weeks since you submitted the application
- You are paying membership donations.
Membership requirements
There are two requirements for becoming a member:
1. Be in good standing with Sudo Room by adhering to our code of conduct.
2. Pay monthly dues reasonable for your means. The standard recommendation is $60, but no one is turned away for lack of resources; work-trade arrangements can also be made for those unable to afford dues, or those who refuse to engage in the monetary system. To make membership donations, you can sign up on our membership portal to pay via bank cards. If you prefer to pay via cash check or cryptocurrency, there is no automated system set up for that so an arrangement has to be made.

To get building access, email facilities@sudoroom.org.
Join email lists! Lists can be found at lists.sudoroom.org. Our most active list is Discuss. If you would just like announcements, join Announce.
Join a working group!
Check out the New Member Onboarding page or our ways to participate page, and feel free to add things to it if you'd like to recruit others for a project!
