Sudo Room's facilities are maintained through the collaborative effort of the Sudo Room facilities working group, the Omni Commons building working group, and every Sudo Room member. Below are links to relevant information about our facility.
Cleaning Protocols
Every member should know how to take the trash out and do it when the trash is full. When full, trash bags should be tied off and transfered to the large street bins stored in the trash room. A new bag should be placed in the bin from the supplies rack by the Hack-o-mat.
E-Waste Disposal
E-Waste can be disposed of by dropping of bins at the Oakland Household Waste (HHW) center. To drop of waste, [to their website] and click "Schedule appointment", then select a time and certify that you meet the requirements of their program. Once complete, all you have to do is load the e-waste into bins and place them in your trunk. Drive up to their facility at 2100 East 7th Street, Oakland and follow their instructions. You'll just need to open your trunk and they'll take out the contents.
You can also drop off e-waste with the E-Waste Collective in Berkeley at their Berkeley drop-off location: 620 Page St, Berkeley, CA, 94710. Hours and contact information can be found on their website.
