If you are running Windows then you will be unable to use .local addresses, since Windows does not support Zero Configuration Networking. OS X does support zeroconf, though Apple calls it Bonjour. You should be able to enable zeroconf support support for windows by installing [https://support.apple.com/kb/DL999 Apples zeroconf for windows], but we have not yet tested this.

When you create a new item in the web app, a label will be immediately printed on the printer currently located near the far corner of the main bookcase. The sticker paper loaded in the printer may be too wide (we need to order the correct kind), so it's best to cut it in half, width-wise.
