Hey everyone,
Thought some of you might be interested in this conference call regarding
community owned ISPs, happening this Thursday. The speakers have mostly
worked with municipally owned networks, but I think a lot of the lessons
would transfer to a consumer-coop ISP. Here are details:

Been a pleasure getting to know the crew in SudoRoom, and look forward to
seeing where things are at when I'm back this summer. And hopefully I'll
find people excited about getting People's Open Net up and running in North
Carolina by then. Keep on Meshing!

Just wanted to let folks know that we are presently having a summit
in Austin, Texas to discuss and refine the Network Commons License,
a legal framework for the co-ownership of communications infrastructure.
Remote participation is more than welcome. Best place to start is the
etherpad, here:

Hey guys,
Anyone who's driving to Austin next weekend-- I would love to join if/when
you pass through LA. If the car is already full, I may be able to get a
bigger one that we can use.
Please let me know so I can plan things out, thanks.
