Their database is downloadable!
We need a command line app that can run on a normal gnu/linux server and
get position from wifi scan results. I haven't looked too deeply but it
looks like they don't have one.
They do have android code though. Does anyone feel like turning the
relevant bit into a java command line utility? It just needs to output
position and bonus points if it outputs an accuracy estimate for that
position as well.

I wanted to share a I came across on WS.

As someone who's pretty new to networking, this video was very helpful in
clarifying a lot of confusion I had about what is going on behind the
scenes.
It's almost 5 hours long and has a lot of valuable information. One caveat
I would give is that the first 45 minutes are so are devoted to configuring
the software and can probably be skipped.
Hope someone else finds it useful.
