I'll be there next week both nights to bang this flyer out.
Also, in reading various articles about the Internet Archive wifi
tower, I found this link:
http://richmondstandard.com/2014/02/richmond-free-wifi-project-expand-count…
Seems like they partnered with Building Blocks for Kids
http://bbk-richmond.org/ to get two repeaters out earlier this year.
Anyways, I sent an email to their operations gal introducing myself
and peoplesopen.net mesh..…
[View More]. hopefully I can meet with someone from
their group to find out what their roadmap for more repeaters are,
etc. Would someone else from Sudomesh want to join me?
Talk to y'all soon!

SUPER-THANKS to 'Kare Raisu' for bringing the punch down tool and
helping with the first patch panel!
We got the first patch panel completed, and Kare agreed to continue
working on the second one on Wednesday.
The first part took way longer than I expected. Well, it was our first
one ever. We learned lots of little tricks on how to proceed best.
At first it seems like just plug it in and punch it.
There were little unknowns that we didn't know that we now know. :)

I picked up the stickers yesterday and they're everything I ever wanted
and so much more!
Which means that there will be bunches of them for folks at sudoroom on
Tuesday. Or if you're free this weekend and can't wait until Tuesday to
get your hands on some sweet sticker lovin, you can email me and I'll
give you my address/we can meet up at a cute coffee shop in north oakland.
I was also thinking that it would be a good fundraising tool. Maybe I'll
post something on the facebooks and twitters …
[View More]about sending us proof of
gittip donations and we'll send out a dozen stickers to each donor?

Hey Team,
I know a bunch of us have been signing up for digital ocean accounts
lately as testbeds, etc. But guess what?
They have a referral program! For every $25 someone spends that you
referred, you get $25 in credits! Not quite a perpetual motion machine,
but 2for1 aint bad right? The next person who wants a digital ocean
account is contractually obligated to contact the list beforehand to get
a referral code :-)

'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink
No, no, no
Too exhausted to make it by sudoroom tonight. Sorry. See you next week.

Hey folks,
Just a heads up that I ordered 1k of these stickers:
https://sudoroom.org/mediawiki/images/e/eb/High-Res_Wide_Sticker.png
(the border will get cut off a little, so it won't have quite so much
padding on the sides)
They should be ready in a few days.
I'm still working with marc to figure out what the status on the other
set of stickers we ordered is in terms of color space, etc. but I
think we'll have those sooner than later as well!
Hooray meshiness!
