I can verify that I am seeing the same thing from my node. All three of my
SSIDs (my home wifi, my private PON, and my public PON) are routing through
the same ip address. Any ideas why this is happening? If you wanna
reproduce try running traceroute (or google what's my ip?) on both your
home wifi network and your
peoplesopen.net wifi as shown below. The next
line in all of these is my home network's public ip address:
home wifi:

private wifi:

public (PON) wifi:

I don't know if anyone realizes how bad this is. If this is happening on
your peoplesopen node you should probably unplug it right away as it is
leaving your home network's ip address open to be used by anyone for any
purpose with no VPuN to route through. Do we know if there is reason the
VPuN is down, was there a mix up with the recent release of ip addresses?
Also why is it falling back on my home internet connection instead of just
not working at all? Additional input and other verifications would be
helpful.

Folks,
I received an email from uptimerobot saying that our exit node is down.
THE ALERT:
My PON WiFi appears to be up, but it is using my own private network IP as
exit node.
Can someone, please, double check and report back?
