So, boards like the Carambola 2 and the Alfa Networks UB124 are based on
the same chipset, minus the arduino bits.
The SoC it's based on (AR9331) is actually full of GPIO pins; the Carambola
2 exposes it.
Just saying. Maker stuff doesn't have to be arduino. :P
