Cool thing about gnunet, unlike tor, is that it works even in an
isolated/fractured network. You just have to know what host you're trying to
contact.
I've been messing around with gnu mediagoblin as well, deploying it at one of
our tower sites in KC. Seems like a solid solution, if a bit green, for
distributing media content on a free network. gnunet seems like a good choice
for personal cloud. Would love to see how gnunet could be integrated with tahoe
to simply/easily create a network-wide grid. Main problem with gnunet right now
is ease of use, imo.
