Hi everyone. Was curious about what software services might have been looked at that are local network based but can also collaborate across the Internet. Im not exactly sure that working stable software like this exists. Reason for bringing it up is that I want to have a node at the house but I dont have any services to offer and I cant really spare much Internet throttle. I want to ask friends to node up but I feel itd be hard to convince them to be island free Internet portals. Collaborative services would add more value to them. I dont really have any services in mind. Just something that doesnt need the Internet to operate but can collaborate with others through the Internet. Something for Internect connectivity with direct Internet access. Am I making any sense? Sorry I cant make it to Oakland much. I run around town for coffee related things and have to stay close to my lab. I do want to get interacting with my neighbors on a node though. Cheers! Great work everyone!
