Don't know if I am posting to the right place.
My name is Luna, and I am an It support contractor. I work a lot with ubiquity equipment,
I have done PTP networks or Mesh networks for security camera systems.
I have LTU Lite beam gen 2 AC, and already have a J mount on the roof of my house and I
already am pretty high up and hopefully I am with in range.

Hi Luna!
we have a lot of ubiquity equipment! The mesh project hasn't had a lot of
activity lately but now that you're here, let's talk about what interests you
about it, and what kind of participation you're available for? It sounds like
you're very qualified to help with this project.
For example, we are discussing setting up a couple of point-to-point uplinks
across town to reach the Omni (our building) from a site that has excess
bandwidth.

worked in the Central Valley and I was a vendor for Ayera Technologies. So I was working
along side as a contractor doing PTP or learning how they put towers up on building with

Hi Luna! Hella stoked to e-meet you!
sudomesh used to meet on Tuesdays, however this has conflicted with
Hardware Hack Night for awhile now (albeit copacetically!)
How do people feel about re-energizing sudomesh, perhaps Monday evening
meetings and bimonthly Sunday afternoon node mounts? Maybe I should just
start with calling a mesh meeting for Monday the 14th at 7pm. We can use

alternative channel..
Topics of note: 1) Berkeley Marina/Yacht Club interest & potential line
of sight to our main tower in Richmond (via Internet Archive), equally
viable prospect at PLACE (roughly 65th St and a bit west of Adeline in
Berkeley) - each of which could be a short hop to Omni's roof and
generally getting that free gigabit down to the East Bay; 2) updates on
ISOC grant that juul and camber applied for the other week to build out
mobile hotspots at encampments; 3) inventory of current equipment and
routers; 4) upgrading and distro'ing this pile of laptops I've been
sitting on for over a year; and 5) rebooting generally - what to keep,
what to let go of, how to organize moving forward in 2022 (perhaps that
should be #1? just riffing here).
I have a few rather boring updates: I dealt with some expired
bureaucracy paperworks last month, so nonprofit status should be shortly
reinstated if it hasn't been already; migrated peoplesopen.net the other
week to a new DigitalOcean droplet, as previously it was running on
Ubuntu 14.04 w/ expired SSL cert *sob*, but still haven't had time to
move over the blog nor the other sites running on that server; ...okay
those are my only updates of any significance :)

Heading those updates sound great, let me know if where my house is located that it could
be line of sight. I could also get long mast to put the antenna higher.
