Hi Mesh,
I recently came across this listing on Amazon. and OpenWRT compatible
router for $20 new. Any thoughts? I could donate a few of these to
SudoMesh, if we are in need of routers.

These are all very nice devices. They run FreeBSD and Linux very well.
I even have datasheets for all the relevant wifi/soc hardware, so I
can answer questions about that.
Go for it! I'd even like one if it's the AR9341 version!

Yeah, that's a common problem with these cheap cheap consumer units.
The carambola2 and the alfa hornet units are better in all respects
space-wise. they'll even custom build you units with larger flash/RAM
if you ask.
