I cant make tonight but I will bring my router and a laptop tomorrow.
Anyone configured a router yet? Has there been any meshing at sudo room?
Id like to know which protocol to start configuring tonight so we can mesh
tomorrow. If you dont mind a temporary node to add to your tables.
Sorry I cant leave the router. I need it for my home mesh. :/
Also, does anyone think its a cool idea to have mesh meetups wednesdays AND
thursdays (semi-officially)? Would avoid confusion and maybe increase
flexibility?
By the way, OTI/Commotion has endorsed Battlemesh. Is Sudo room or 510pen
considering. Its a week long battle of the mesh... April 15-21.

Hi,
The existing 510pen routers are open-mesh.com routers. They run the
batman-adv protocol for routing and also have a captive portal and remote
control system. I don't think anyone has connected another openwrt router
to it yet, I was hoping to do that tomorrow, I have a batman-adv router but
wasn't able to configure it the last time I tried.
I was thinking we were officially doing Thursdays but the calendar shows
Wednesdays. I can only do one meeting a week but maybe the flexibility of
choosing a night would be good.
People have mentioned Battlemesh, it would be great to have someone go but
Europe is far.

Yeah, I seem to be having issues setting an interface using 'batctl'. I'm
sure it's my lack of proper openwrt configuration? I'll bring my stuff over
anyway and see if I can get it to work with what's over there.
