Hi David!
The mesh project is in the process of starting up again! You can join the
list (or view the archives) here:

Sudoroom has an open-house hack night every Tuesday, a meeting/gathering
almost every wednesday evening, and Software Thursdays most weeks.
Hopefully the mesh project will start having meetings too. I recommend
joining the mesh list (I see you already joined sudo-discuss) and checking out
the mesh list archives, linked above.

New subject: Volunteer/ getting involved
Hi David!
We've got a lot of exciting stuff going on, and now is a great time to get
involved.
To add to what Jake said: Tuesdays are Hardware Hacking night. It's our
most active event. It's lively, and people are often focused on projects,
so it's a great opportunity to meet people and see what the space is for.
Wednesday nights are meetings. We have a big one the first Wednesday of
each month, which is this Wednesday, March 1st. These are when we discuss
the management of the space and projects, and provide orientation to new
and prospective members, so if you want to learn about volunteering this is
a great opportunity for that specifically.
Jake (who responded above) hosts Tuesday nights, and is usually in on
Wednesdays too. I (Andy) will be in on Wednesday, running the meeting. Feel
free to come to both or whichever you think will suit your interests.
