Do you have some things you want to learn in the next few months? Of course you do! Come join us on Tuesday evening as we create learning plans and discuss ways of creating the structure, accountability and community we need to make progress on our learning goals.
We’ll begin with a partner activity designed to help you reflect on what you want to learn and where your drive is coming from. Then we’ll spend some time setting clear intentions for this next semester. We’ll present some of our intentions to the group, and get feedback and resource recommendations from other participants. We’ll finish the workshop with a short introduction to the Open Masters project, and the concept of a learning cooperative. The organizers of this event are part of the Bay Area Open Masters. Open Masters is a global network of learning cooperatives, providing supportive learning communities for self-directed learners. An Open Masters group will be starting in San Francisco later this spring, and we hope this workshop will generate interest in getting an east bay chapter going as well.
